Well as I’m sure your all fully aware the weather has been totally shit for riding latley, I also just handed in a gargantuan module of work for graphics last term, hence the serious lack of updates. The weather doesn’t look like its improving anytime soon so don’t expect that much going on in the next few weeks. Filming for Waudby’s Peguins Bite is happening (slowly) and I think its gonna be ready early to mid January. This is my new graphic design blog, or should I say blogS as I have to keep about 5 of them for our sadistic course tutor Fred. Thats all for now, hopefully some riding will happen this Chrismas. I went home last week to try and get started with my dissertation, which went reasonably successful. I spent the time that I wasn’t working  pretty much just eating and sleeping with a few dog walks thrown in. I feel fully refreshed, or at least I did until I hit up The Willow (York scummiest night spot) for Halloween!

The next day Scott and Josh came to town to ride. I say ride, Mat and Josh got so ratty the night before we were supposed to go riding neither of them managed to make it out until it was pretty much dark.

Mats consumption of alcohol the previous night didn’t stop him busting out a sweet flattie at BT banks.

Long drive to Edinburgh

We got to Ocean Terminal later than planned, then I promptly fell off and rode shit for most of the session. Everyone else got their shred on and shut the place down.

The view out of Ocean Terminal over the docks was wicked.

This pic is kind of shit, but in a way I like the grainyness and the wierd lighting, plus the kickout is wild.

After about 4 hours sleep and getting kicked out of the hostle at 10 we went for a full Scottish breakfast, which included haggis, in the cafe next door. Ideal.

We headed down to the bottom of the Royal Mile to ride the Scottish Parliment buildings. Here, Robbie transferes from the far right hand bench to nose bonk on the left one.

Considering how ratty everyone was feeling some pretty serious riding got going straight way. Clip count was good.

The End

On Sunday Mat and I went to York Uni to meet up with Robbie and Moley and ride some street, Robbie and Moley where like an hour late so instead of tiring ourselve out before they turned up we decided to head into the furthest, most “unexplored” parts of the campus in search of new spots. The results where positive. Some cool new stuff to ride was found and some bangers where dropped, which I did a pretty poor job of recording. Luckily Mat was on hand with his video camera to capture the action, so watch out for a new edit called penguins bite dropping near the end of september.
